Today was our safety training day which conducted by one of the largest oil company in Malaysia. The main objective was to refresh workers with Loss Prevention System (LPS) which has been in their safety system for 7 years.
LPS - The LPS is a systematic way to promote safe behavior or reduce incidents using behavior-based tools and proven management techniques. The goal of LPS is to prevent or reduce the following types of incidents:

Personal injuries

Equipment or property damage

Product quality incidents

Regulatory assessments

Operational or system inefficiencies

Near losses
LPS aims to prevent or reduce losses through establishing a work culture that :

Promotes proactive safety activities versus reactive.

Integrates LPS tools parts of daily activities

Provides direction from top to bottom

Solves problems from bottom to up

Engages all workers
